3,000 kg towing. Laser SLAM and QR code on one chassis. Standard builds out the door in 4-6 weeks.
Hangcha Towing AGV is a 3,000 kg automatic towing tractor for horizontal transport in warehouses and distribution centers. One chassis runs two navigation modes: laser SLAM for layouts that shift, and QR code for fixed lanes.
The AGV uses a safety bumper, laser obstacle avoidance, and audible/visual alarms to work alongside people. The scheduling system exposes an open API for WMS/MES integration, and docking solutions are custom-built around your floor plan. Standard builds ship in 4-6 weeks; common spare parts dispatch in 7 days. A compatibility checklist maps the AGV to existing Hangcha forklift models before you commit.
Compatibility, integration, safety, and what happens after the truck leaves.
Two navigation modes on one chassis—laser SLAM builds its map on the fly, so relabeling QR markers after a rack move isn't required.
Compatibility checklist covers Hangcha forklift models and fleet systems; verify fit before order confirmation, not after delivery.
5 m/s travel speed, up to 8 hours runtime on a 48V/60Ah LiFePO4 pack, 2-hour fast charge.

Repetitive towing work, moved off the forklift driver's schedule.
The AGV takes the back-and-forth trips: pallets, carts, and containers between zones. Typical sites include:

Most sites use both: SLAM in the open floor, QR code at fixed docking points.
| Point | Laser SLAM | QR code |
|---|---|---|
| Floor preparation | None; uses natural features | QR labels laid on the floor |
| When racks move | Map rebuilds automatically | Labels need re-laying |
| Upfront cost | Higher sensor cost | Lower |
| Fits best | Changing or complex layouts | Fixed routes, stable layouts |
